We flew from the Grouse at Glossop last Sunday and pilot Chris and the passengers were asked to keep an eye out for the pubs pet pig (which is actually a wild boar) who disappeared from their animal farm at the pub, the week before. A sighting had been made on the adjacent Kinder Scout and Snake Summit last week.
Billy is still proving to be illusive but can rest assured he is not going to end up as sausages but a pub pet. The National Trust plus fencing contractors working on the Kinder fence line are keeping a look out.
