As we mentioned last week, Billy the Boar, pet pig of The Grouse in Glossop had previously escaped!
Billy was spotted last Friday 26th August by the local Gamekeeper, Fred Mitchinson, near the golf course at the bottom of the Snake Road. A phone call to Arthur, landlord at the Grouse, resulted in a bucket tempting him home for a relatively short walk, compared to his treks of the last week!! Needless to say he had lost a fair bit of weight but is now home at the Animal Zoo, back with his friends. Thanks to all who looked for ‘Billy the Boar’.
